Changing attitudes to disability in East and North Africa

Leonard Cheshire Disability campaigns to change attitudes to disability and supports disabled people all over the world.

The East and North Africa office works with 33 services in eight countries, Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Sudan, Morocco, Rwanda and the Seychelles. Poverty is a major contributing factor to the lack of opportunities available to disabled people in the region.

We help build enabling communities where disabled people are recognised as valuable members of society.
