Disability and HIV/AIDS

The Kenya National Campaign on Disability and HIV/Aids works for a coordinated response involving persons with disabilities in Kenya to develop inclusive national HIV and AIDS policies and programmes and equal access for persons with disabilities to information and services on HIV and AIDS.

It is a unifying umbrella for the government, disabled people’s organisations, organisations of people living with HIV and Aids, non-governmental organisations, HIV/Aids service organisations, researchers, activists and other citizens.

Leonard Cheshire Disability is a member of the steering committee of the campaign and we are working hard to mainstream disability issues within it and to promote it in the media.
