Cheshire International Internship Programme Scheme (CHIIPS)
The Leonard Cheshire CHIIPS programme places young graduates on internship placements with Leonard Cheshire Services and offices around the world. The scheme gives individuals an opportunity to build their knowledge of disability and development, whilst working abroad. Interns also have the chance to live and work in different cultures, often entirely different to their way of life back home.
Leonard Cheshire Disability interns are young, independent, ambitious graduates from Europe, Africa and Asia. Interns work on placements that best suit their skills, such as IT, marketing, research or physiotherapy. Placements generally last for six months. There are currently opportunities available for graduates from East and North Africa to take part in internships in the United Kingdom. If you would like more information about these placements please email mercy@lcd-enar.org.
